I created a Zine once for my graphic design class last semester and thought of three great ideas. My second choice was to create a Zine all about space and include fun facts, pictures, drawings and even play with the shape of the Zine to be something unique like a planet.
So here is where I stand with some unique ideas!
A zine about space could explore the vast mysteries of the cosmos through a blend of art, poetry, and science. It might delve into the beauty of distant galaxies, the enigma of black holes, and the dreams of interstellar travel. This zine could also feature thought-provoking essays on humanity's place in the universe and the potential for life beyond Earth. With a mix of visuals, stories, and facts, it would inspire readers to gaze at the stars with wonder and curiosity.
I also plan to add some texture to at least two of my Zines. The texture I plan to include could be as simple as lamination or use a different type of paper to distinguish my zine from others. I also plan to add page numbers and a variety of complimentary colors. I am considering the possibility of keeping my zine a monochromatic color scheme to help set the mood. Another idea I have is to make the entire theme feel more animated than realistic to invite the viewers to approach the subject of space with a more casual tone and not feel so intimidated by giant black hole that could swallow them.
Here are some photos to give inspiration to the beauties of space and my project.
