Artists statement:

I created these three masks in Blender with the sculpting mode. I created each mask as a representation on my own identity. The first mask is titled "Celestial" which is a reflection of my curiosity for space and time and the search for perfection. The ripples and deformities within the mask itself represents the parts of me that feel broken but do not necessarily subtract from the quality of the mask and life itself. Also the mask represents the aspirational side of the human spirit, to teach lessons about life and finding light even when facing challenges.

The second mask is called "The Outrider." This mask is a direct reflection of the time I served in the Marine Corps. The mask is a direct reflection of my resilience and determination for for excellence regardless of scrapes or bruises I obtained along the way. Moreover, this mask has helped grounded the heart of the other masks. The mask also reflects a veteran whose wisdom comes from navigating a rugged, difficult path with its worn exterior and subtle cracks, further emphasizing my resilience giving me the ability to endure hardship without being broken.

The final mask is titled "The Data Poet." This mask is a direct reflection of my humerous and trolling personality which I let loose when I am in more comfortable environments. The Data Poet directly uses the past experiences and worldly knowledge to pronounce his jokes. This mask stands in contrast to the other characters acting as a witty provocateur who challenges the other masks ideas.
